Program Description
This program provides the student with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to become a phlebotomist. The phlebotomy training program consists of 40 hours of didactic training, 40 hours of laboratory training and 40 hours of clinical practice. This program prepares the student for the State Certification Exam to become a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT-1) and is approved by the California Department of Public Health LFS.
